Ken always has his sandy hair gelled up, he never leaves it to chance. He takes great pride in his appearance, but isn't usually a jerk about it. He's about 5'11, a little under but he rounds up most of the time, as well as muscled and lean. He liked jeans and graphic tees, color matching and accessories of almost every kind.[/blockquote]

LOUD-- Everything about Ken is loud, his voice, his color and fashion choices, his opinion, his music... He likes to make an entrance and be in the limelight.
BLUNT-- Ken is honest and direct, he says whats on his mind, whatever he thinks or feels, without batting an eye. That's not to say he's brutally honest, he likes to be friendly and if good in social situations, but he is quick to speak his mind.
DETAIL ORIENTED-- Ken takes time to notice things, lay outs, outfits, features. It's what makes him great at remembering people and laying out rooms for brochures. He is more sensate than intuitive though, which can get him in trouble when he can't pick up on emotional cues.
JUVENILE-- Ken likes to have fun, you could say playful, but he is still a college boy at heart. He likes to gossip and get in other peoples business. Its generally harmless.
STEREOTYPICALLY GAY-- Ken knows he's a stereotype, but it doesn't bother him. He likes guys, shopping, the color pink and watching soap operas, but he doesn't think it makes him any less of a man.

Ken knew he was gay from a young age. He liked dress up and dolls and pink shirts over blue ones with trucks. At first his father figured he'd grow out of it, but when that didn't happen, Mark tried his best to change Ken, played sports with him and such. Ken was alright at the games, but he got no enjoyment out of them. Mark was worried about how this reflected on them in their suburban community. He didn't understand his son and never accepted him as gay, he keeps hoping things will change.[/blockquote]
His mother didn't much mind either way about what Ken wanted to do or be. She loved her son and provided the support he needed to get through school, despite his father's non understanding and closed mind.
Ken went to college at FIT in NYC and studying interior decorating, but it was hard to get a good job, even in the city and he moved back home to Michigan and got a job at the local Ikea. They found him reorganizing the floor displays one day and decided that he should do the designing for room layouts and catalogues. With the promotion came a move to Colorado. He hasn't been here too long, but he's made friends with the boy next door.
