Ethan has short dark brown hair, often ruffled and just long enough to have a couple of waves in it. He doesn't often use products like gel, his hair doesn't fall into his eyes. His hair gets kind of greasy pretty easily, so he makes sure to wash it regularly, he wouldn't be seen out anywhere with greasy hair! His eyes are a medium brown, not too light and not so dark they look black, they could be classed as chocolate brown, but Ethan is more likely to call them 'mud brown' since he would rather have green or blue eyes.[/blockquote]
Ethan stands at around 5 feet 7 inches, and has a very lean build. He's not really got much muscle to him, but there's not much fat on his body either, he's what some would call toned. At the most, Ethan weighs 67-70kg. He's got pale skin, and a light scattering of freckles. Ethan has thick eyebrows, the same colour as his hair. Usually he is clean shaven.
He's got a small tattoo of a star on his right wrist. He tends to wear comfy sweaters and beanie hats in the winter, and the occasional suit and tie. He doesn't really wear jewelry and doesn't have any piercings (any more), he does have a very small scar on his right ear, where he used to have a piercing.

FUN: One of the best things about Ethan is he is a very fun person to be around, he is often very jolly and friendly and always loves to make friends. He loves music, and most things.[/blockquote]
GAY: Ethan is an 'out' gay. He came out of the closet at quite a young age, since he's always kind of known he was gay. He is not stereotypical. He's not a good dancer, he isn't good at picking out clothes (for others at least). He is just gay. It doesn't make him (overly) feminine.
SMART: For someone who didn't do very well at school. He is smart. He was just no good with exams, he is very good with the practical side of stuff. He often did better in the coursework than exams, but the set back meant he often got average grades.
ANIMAL-LOVER: Ethan loves animals, and hates to see animal cruelty, he will often send money to charities and set up charity events. His favorite animals are probably cats and horses, two animals practically as different as can be.
OUTGOING: Ethan is very outgoing, he loves to go out and party. He often arranges little parties at his home. He likes a drink but never goes overboard. He often hosts the parties and has to be sober to send people home. He is a very generous person, and will often offer to buy drinks for people and the like. As out-going as he is, when he's around guys he has a crush on, he tends to act shyly.

Just after midnight, on the first of January nineteen-eighty six, Ethan Dexter Hill was born to Dexter Hill and Samantha Holt, the two weren't married, but had been living together happily for over five years, his older brother Reid was testament to that. Ethan and Reid both got on well together, despite there being a slight age gap, Ethan often clung to Reid as a young child, till he eventually became more self confident.[/blockquote]
Once his personality began to shine through, it was obvious that Ethan was going to be a vibrant person. He was always smiling and hugging people as a small child, he was often affectionate, more so than his brother was, and looking back, it isn't a surprise that he turned out gay. He and his family lived in San Francisco, California so he often enjoyed the hot summer days and was very into water sports once upon a time.
In his early teens it dawned on the young boy that he wasn't into girl like his friends were. He was 12, when he got his first crush on a guy. His friends had all got themselves girlfriends and he hadn't. He'd yet to even have a crush on a pretty girl. He usually just admired them or something. Or was jealous of them. It was around then that he discovered he had a crush on one of his best guy friends, Jeremy. He told him out front and was rejected. It didn't help that he had a girlfriend, but it was then that everyone knew Ethan was gay. Or at least not straight.
Ethan was hurt by his friends rejection and tried to act as if the taunts he got didn't hurt him, but since he lived in California which was one of the more liberal states towards the LGBT community, he was accepted by other better friends, so Ethan couldn't care less. So he set about making the right friends and very soon he was a very outgoing and friendly man. It helped that while disappointed he wouldn't give them grandchildren, his parents supported him, though he still thinks that they are hoping he'll meet the 'right' girl and be converted, but they don't say anything to his face. Ethan didn't mind High School and he got the grades he needed, though he barely scrapped by, being more interested in having fun.
When he was 18, he decided that academics wasn't really for him, he was more into partying and drinking that studying and learning, unlike his rather studious older brother, so he quit school and got himself a job. His father wanted him to be like he was, and start tinkering around with computers, but Ethan wasn't overly technological, sure he knew how to work a computer, but when things went wrong he was stumped.
Aged 20, Ethan moved out for the first time. He got himself a small flat in Kingston, New York, but soon moved off again, searching for the 'right' area to settle down and getting himself a proper job. What he really wants to do is set up a business organizing parties, but he's got to get himself money first. Finally, two years later, he came to Aspen, intending only to stay temporally, but eventually stayed. When he arrived, he threw himself into the community in hope to make some friends since all his friends were still in San Francisco. He started working at the local bar, in hopes of meeting a cute guy, but hasn't yet found anyone who really caught his eye. He's happy enough being on his own, but really he does get lonely from time to time like everyone does.
