OUTFIT
The only good reason to leave the house in this weather was coffee, Max determined. She did, of course, have coffee at her house, but it really wasn't as good as having someone else make the coffee for you. Not to mention the fact that there was something particularly special about a latte. The skinny vanilla latte sitting in front of her was the perfect thing to improve Max's morning.
Being famous was something Max never could decide how she felt about. On one hand, she loved the money and the opportunity to be the center of attention whenever she wished. On the other hand, though, it meant that someone was always watching her. Usually, when she was in public, she went to extremes to avoid being recognized, wearing large sunglasses, a blonde wig, and mens clothing. Today, though, she'd decided to just be herself. Of course, the fact that she was sporting several items of clothing that had comic book designs on them would tip the paparazzi off to her dorky ways, but that wasn't the worst thing that could happen to her.
As she sipped her coffee, Max quickly decided that being alone was boring. At least, she supposed, she had her iPhone, which would offer at least a bit of entertainment. Pulling it out of her bag, she placed it on the table in front of her and launched her Facebook, secretly hoping someone would interrupt her so that she would at least have something to do. [/size] |
