Mackenzie is slender and of rather average height, which means she has to stick to modeling in magazines. Short models don't do well on the catwalk. She was born with naturally red hair and unique, blue-green eyes. Unfortunately, along with the red hair came a generous smattering of freckles. Everywhere. She hates them. Fortunately, they haven't gotten in the way of her career because airbrushing works wonders. Her figure isn't masculine in any way, but Max doesn't have the curves her sister does. Her hair changes style somewhat often depending on the job she's on, but it is always long. She doesn't color it, but when she doesn't feel like being recognized, she has a tendency to wander around in blonde wigs that look pretty convincing.[/blockquote]
When she's on the job, Max wears whatever she is told to wear. On her own time, her style is largely dependent on whether she feels like being seen. She gets free clothes a lot of the time, so she wears them fairly often, which means she can be pretty trendy. When she doesn't want to be recognized, though (which is fairly often), she has a tendency to dress like a guy, wearing baggy clothes and less trendy/flattering styles. She has her ears pierced, but has not gotten any tattoos because she fears it might keep her from getting jobs.

She hasn't actually tried to do either, but she refuses to admit that it's because she's afraid that she'll fail.

boistrous Essentially, Max lacks a filter. You'd think that, having spent most of her life modeling, she would have learned to behave in a quiet, appropriate manner. However, this has done the exact opposite for her, as she has learned she can get away with pretty much anything. She is loud, sometimes rude, and has a reputation for attracting trouble. While she doesn't like being famous, she does enjoy attention on a smaller scale and likes to make a scene when she feels like it, which is usually when she's drinking or at a party.
blunt This is mostly related to her lack of filter, but also due to her deep rooted appreciation for honesty. She is very plainly honest with people even when they don't wan her to be. At times, it comes off as rude and makes her seem like a bit of a bitch or a diva, but she figures it's better to be honesty disliked than to pretend to be someone else just to stay in someone's good graces.
addictive Max forms habits easily. It can be simple, mundane things like always putting both socks on before reaching for her shoes or more intense, dangerous things like getting blackout drunk on a regular basis. She enjoys having fun, and she currently strings a series of habits related to that. She's addicted to smoking and to caffeine. Neither of these bother her much because they really don't interfere with her life.
nerdy Max is practically obsessed with Harry Potter. She is also a major fan of many things that aren't really "popular." Over all, her interests are pretty atypical for a model. Truthfully, she would be just as happy socializing through the use of online role playing games as going out to physically socialize with people. She even wears nerdy glasses when she's not working. Of course, she does what she can to keep this side of her contained around most people.
loyal While she does have quite a temper and can burn bridges easily in people who are not stubborn or devoted enough to stick around, Max is actually a great person to have on your side. She is exceptionally protective of people she cares for and will stop at nothing to take care of them in any way she can. She is also particularly keen on keeping her promises, no matter how small or silly they may seem.

Childhood was kind of a blur for Max. When she was nine, a studio she'd had photos taken at used a picture of her in a photo contest and she took it as a sign that she ought to try modeling. Her parents were supportive and it wasn't long before the family moved from Oregon to Los Angeles. From that point, her childhood and teenage years revolved around her career. All in all, it was a good time for Max. Her family was supportive and she was able to do what she wanted.[/blockquote]
Truthfully, fame was pretty easy until she turned eighteen. That year, her parents were killed in a car accident. Max walked out on a job in the middle, flying home right away to be there for her sister. The tabloids seized the opportunity to come up with as many interesting stories related to her whereabouts as they could. Max helped them right along the day she punched a reporter in the face because he wouldn't leave her alone. She spent a few months doing court mandated anger management therapy, but it doesn't seem to have tarnished her image too much.
For a couple of years, she manged to stay at home with Lenny while working, but living in LA didn't really open her up for as many jobs as traveling all the time did, and Lenny was very independent. The girls talked it over and decided to file to have Len emancipated.
Now that her sister is legally responsible for herself, Max is back to the typical traveling, partying lifestyle she has always loved. Currently, she is in Aspen for the holidays. She hasn't yet decided when she is going to head out again.
